I found this section most fitting for my question. What tool should I use to get an angled edge with acrylic? Here's a basic diagram made in paint for what I want:

Router would be the best tool. A file and sanding block could be used but much more time intensive.

You can use a router and a chamfer bit to get the angle. Or the dremel with the plunge attachment 335-01 and the Dremel #618 45DEG Chamfer Rout Bit.
Also take a look at this link. I posted the same question a couple of months ago.

I'm not exactly sure that a 45 degree angle will work. I will try to plan when I get home, but for now if you guys wanna toss around ideas, that'd be a good help. I went to a resort in Carefree, AZ called the boulders. It has two golf courses. The driving range for the golf course has pyramids of golf balls at each station. You can see the real thing I'm trying to mimic here:
![]() I'll get some measurements on the golfballs and angles and such when I get home.

A router would be best for chamfering or beveling the edges (since you're beveling the whole edge it wouldn't be a chamfered edge). Chamfer bits are typically 45 degree and have an edge guide pin to keep it straight. There are other angles of router bits available. since you're wanting to bevel the entire edge, the easiest would be to use a router in a table with a fence or use a router with an edge guide attachment (different from a guide pin on the bit)

I have a neighboor that is really into working with wood. I'll see what type of tools he has.
