Default Side Panel Question

Ok, so I wanted to cut out a window on my side panel and cover it with some plexi glass so I can see inside my case. Is there anyway to go about doing this and getting the plexi glass to look somewhat flush with the panel instead of recessed a bit. Also if anyone knows of some designs that look cool instead the plain old square plexi glass panel. Not too intricate though.

there are 2 things that I can think of.

you could use some edge grip seal; search mcmaster.com (can't direct link due to the way their site is set up )

the other alternative would be to recess the perimeter of the window cutout into the edge of the acrylic panel (depth of cut being the thickness of the panel)

Recessing - I believe it's also called chamfering - is your best bet. If the recess is about 3cm you can then use double sided tape or normal tape to hold the window in place
