ok, I have 2 60 mm fans. To be on the safe side, ie not draw too much power from the weak PSU, do i want to go series or Parallel. Having a brainfart..

The "weak" PSU you're talking about is your PC&C 750? You could use a single 120mm fan if you have space, it moves more air and it's more silent than those 2 60mm fans, and probably consumes less power. You don't need to worry about overloading the PSU with fans
That PC&C can handle alot with out any problem.![]()

Series will cut the voltage to each (aka, 3 fans, 4 volts each, amp draw is that of one) Parallel will give you 12v to all and the amperage of each will be added. when a fan takes .3a, I dont think you need to worry about drawing too much.

It's worth mentioning that fan variations can affect spin-up on fans when they are wired in series. Occasionally, if one of your fans is slightly more willing to spin than the other(even if they're the same fan), only one fan will start. I attempted to wire a pair of panaflow 120s in series in an old project, and one of the two would usually fail to start. I'd really not worry about power draw, especially with 60mm fans. If it's noise that bugs you, wire them for less voltage or get a fan controller.

A single fan draws .2 amps.... whats the problem here???
A problem would be if you have an addiction to wiring useless stuff up all the time like I do, and you have a 12v. 5 amp. powerhouse of a transformer sitting in your room with nothing to wire up to it. If I tried to wire it to a fan... it would blow up. BTW. That was just a cry for help. I need to do something with it before I go into withdraw and have a seizure.

Unless you rewire the PSU connectors it isn't possible to wire it in series anyway. The molex connectors are parallel to each other

back to topic, it's always good to wire both in parallel. if in series, ull only feed ure fan 6v, which in some cases, isn't enough to start your fan up.

Same ****. My point was that if you're just plugging in molex's everything will always be in parallel
