Just might want to mention that laser cutting is another alternative for those modders who would like to prototype but do not have a shop/tools at their disposal. For a fee a shop like TAP Plastics will cut all your pieces to size or even lasercut and engrave them from a CAD file. Then it's just some light sanding and assembly.

As I sort this thread out, I will place them in the appropriate section within the 1st post. + ![]() Quote:
![]() Yes, the Novus products will be in the polishing section, but I will certainly make a note concerning the anti-static qualities... maybe I place the Novus products in 2-sections? + ![]() Quote:
A section will be added, but I will need some more feedback and images as I have not delved into this aspect... yet. + ![]() Quote:
Thanks, Nepas. This is a group effort, so any input is greatly appreciated. ![]() P.S. Over the past 12 months I have seen an enormous surge of extremely talented and resourceful people, thanks to all the share their modding insanity.

i may have missed it, but what about the score and snap method?
great guide, I'm going to have to get some practice using that Dremel bit you used with the straight edge guide. I tried it once when going for a circle cut on steel and it made this horrible whining grinding noise, so I never used it again ![]() haven't worked with acrylic for a while though. + , you have to get to 1000 ![]()

![]() I have yet to post the section on "scoring and snapping". Over the next week, I will keep adding sections and shuffling them so that they are presented in a cohesive and logical manner (...tall order for me ).And yah. I personally don't like using the Dremel on metals; one of the reasons is as you stated: loud and obnoxious... but sometimes I do. More soon. ![]()
