Heyah, SmasherBasher!

You could try sandwiching 3 (1/16") colored panels together to get the color combination that you want: Yellow, Green and Blue = orange-ish.



150 clams for a 12 x 12 panel... noway. That is robbery imho.

As the Masters have already stated...

Additionally it depends upon the color and the gauge of the acrylic to be used.

I did do a build that cost 800 US-bucks for the acrylic only... but that is what the person wanted.

If you can find a plastics shop in the city that you live in then perhaps "scrap" would be a reasonable starting point. The cost is much (much) less, and it allows for some testing and practicing.

I wouldn't call it poor planning or scheduling. You are an artist and perfectionist. An Artist cannot predict how long his opus will take: he simply soldiers on until he realizes his vision. And a Perfectionist is not focused on "getting it done" but on the doing.

So cut yourself some slack my friend.
