ok so I've got the acrylic now, but when I cut it should I leave the covering on it? Is there anything special I need to do? I will be using a table saw.

Leave the covering on it, it will help to protect it from scratches and it also gives you a surface to mark out your cutting area!

I've finished cutting, and now it's finishing drying. I ended up using silicone to glue it together because it should seal it and make it somewhat soundproof.

I'll have pics later....the silicone decided it doesn't like aluminum so it kindof fell apart lol. In a couple days I can get some cool pics with it operational too, once my replacement gfx waterblock bracket comes in.

Here it is during the day (sry pics a little blurry from 1/13 shutter speed):

It's really reflective in a light room...at night it looks cooler. I'll get some pics tonight.

My jigsaw ability has gotten better through this project. Hehe the cuts get smoother on each side lol. The first one is pretty wavy (top)...the last one looks pretty good (bottom).
