Default Are computers and smoke friends?

Would smoke hurt the inside of a computer? I'm thinking of a really weird mod and this has me curious.

I'm not talking like mass amounts of smoke, but about as much as a constantly burning cigarette would put out.

Btw my mod has nothing to do with cigarettes.

What Sphere said^

if you're talking something resembling cig smoke, like paritcle smoke, then that's bad. On eBay when you buy studio equipment the seller usually puts emphasis on the item having been used in a smoke free environment.
