LOL, i know i am but my school life is totally different, dont talk about computers, dont talk about building computers, dont talk about upgrading computers. Today at my high school orientation some kid said he built a computer over the summer and the teachers like what kind, like mac pc? And he said linux and every1 is like ***? I wanted to say something but couldnt. shoulda done something! Now i live with that forever! but im still cool

Hahaha! My High School was like that too. If you didn't play any type of sport you were uncool. So instead of playing sports I developed a sarcastic and crass personality whenever anyone pissed me off. It really is sad how close minded people are.

Anyways, back to your mod. The bus idea sounds awesome! Only do it if you put the wheels on the bottom. See if you can find a way to make a Tower case lay on its side so it resembles a bus better. Or you could make a rocket ship mod. Dunno.

It could if you get the right chassis. I would say your best bet is to go to wal-mart/Target and look for those really BIG rc cars. You may have to mod the springs to hold the weight of the pc but that would be A LOT cheaper than getting a Hobby grade RC truck/buggy/car.

i'm going to wall mart this weekend. amazon didn't have any big enough rc cars. i think i will put it on its side, and put a window on top, and the bus on the sides.

i play sports so i don't hang out with the computer classes, but everyone knows that i like them, and that program and want to do that type of stuff. i don't care, no one makes fun of me. i'm dating the cheer caption and am going to the be the caption of the baseball team (if i don't quit so i can take computer science). maybe my school is just more open. or maybe you should just not care what people think, instead of trying to hide what your interested in.

It's actually the exact same way for me at my school. Everybody knows I'm smart, and that I'm obsessed with computers / video games / my PS3. I have had girlfriends who were the farthest thing from nerds, and none of them seemed to care that I like that kinda stuff. I don't play sports, but that's not really a huge deal at my school. I still have a lot of friends that are in to all sorts of stuff. There really isn't any of those stupid cliques that you see on TV, at my school at least.

Anyways, back to your modding. I really love the bus idea. I kind of want to strap my PC to an RC car now. You can put like, a sunroof on the bus, and multiple windows on the sides, and a windshield on the front and one on the back too. You could use acrylic for that stuff.

I said hobby grade because they usually have better motors and gearing. If you were going to all out custom build it, I have some parts if you want them. A spare motor and a car chassis. I also have a remote controller and receiver etc. Let me know if you want to go that route. But you will probably need to spend some money for other stuff. If you could find a cheap car, it would probably run off AA's and I don't know if they would have the torque you would need. But yeah, sweet idea and I am sure there is a forum somewhere for RC stuff that would love to help you out too.

dude i cant explain how big you suck to me right now. that is so fake right there why are you ashamed at what you like? i never hid my love for pc's or technology and i wasnt considered "uncool". if you act that way your no better than the fake ass people who walk around school in American eagle drinking Starbucks. cause we all know they go home at night and boot into linux

but seriously that is totally messed up that you have to be that fake, i would have went up to that kid and sat right next to him. becuase maybe hes not cool but at least he isnt a dumb ass that has there face glued to mtv crankin da soulja boi and chillin on the free wifi with his lame mac! but at least your still "cool"
