I have been working on what theme to use on my new build. At the moment I am saving up for the parts. It will be part Phase Change cooling for the CPU, and water cooling for the video card. The Tubing for phase change will be braided steel and I got to thinking when I saw the image below, how nice braided sleeving actually looks on tubing. My whole theme now is Aluminum and Stainless Steel. The coolant will only be distilled water with biocide.
My only issue is which type of sleeving to get. Braided metal will cost $84 for 5 feet, which I am up for. But then there is Braided Stainless steel which is cheaper but I cannot tell if it is full coverage. I don't want to see the tubing at all. Any suggestions? Sleeving from here ![]()

I have the exact same idea, and I posted about it about half a year ago. Cheap and easy solution? The flexible braided hose they use for kitchen and bathroom plumbing. Uses NPT fittings, not barbs, and you can get then in almost any length you'd need (I'm sure you could get someone to make you custom lengths as well).

wow, that pic looks absolutely amazing... my tubes are brownish, and cloudy white from use, it would be AWESOME to make them look like that. Only thing im hesitant about is the fill line, as I like to be able to see the water level. Still, awesome idea.

why not some sleeving just like you would use to sleeve PSU cables?

That is a murderbox, the sleeving Charles uses is the same stuff as what he uses to sleeve cables, he just puts it around the standard tubing
