ya just plug a switch into the mobo, or you can lick your finger and rub it on the 2 pins that power it up. another way is a screwdriver between the power pins.

If you have another case you can use the wire with the plugs from the extra case then wire a switch to those wires, now you have a power switch.

k dude - get a switch, and soldier / redneck attach 2 wires on either pins of it. If it has 6 pins, then it gets alil more complicated. Line the pins out like this :
__________________1 2 3 4 5 6 Theres 3 ways this could be set up: 1: there's 3 positions for the switch - each position connects pins 1+4 ,2+5 ,3+6. 2: 2 and 5 are + and - pins, or power in pins. Doesnt matter which one is ground. theres therefore 2 positions on the switch - left and right. They give power to 1+4 / 3+6 accordingly. 3: U could have bought a dial switch, which could switch one pin's input thru the remaining 5 pins, but i doubt u did that. So there u go, all u have to do is make sure that the wires u connected to ur power pins on ur mobo, will get short circuited when u put ur switch in a desired position. Its that easy. If u r really really, really lazy or jsut evry creative, just grab 2 wires, connect em 2 the mobo, and make the switch out of legos ![]() Btw, theres lots of gr8 stores, liek my favourite - [url]www.activesurplus.com[url] active surplus along queen street. just get off at saint andrew ont he subway, and walk right down queen, all the stores r filel dove the top with eye candy switches lol. Its modders heaven. Thats where i got my military rocker switch which now controls my uv lol ![]() Hope i helped.

it would need to be a momentary switch. as atx PSU's use the momentary power to turn them on.

Yes, but u could just turn it on for a couple of seconds and turn it right off.
__________________But still, active surplus has a crapload of those 2. And for u no-id, a momentary switch just connects the 2 contacts for a moment. Thats pretty much it.
