Default Fan is not working on my video card

This is very bad i have been wondering why my graphic card has been SO EXTREMELY HOT and well i looked underneeth and OH NO MY FAN AINT WORKING does somebody kno how to fix this i really dont kno what typ of graphic card i have besides 128 megg gephorce 4 8x agp with dvi,s-video , and vga i moved this from NVIDIA cooling (but i didnt kno how to do it properlly) cause nobody was replying can somebody please help me i love my graphic card (dont really kno why prbly cause its one of the only things i have better than my dad)

It could be that the fan died...

In that case you need to find out the card model and find either a new hs, and fan or just a fan and erplace the old one.

Try newegg.com, im sure they have somthing.

Just get a VGA silencer. Make sure that you are using a Ti version of the the GeForce 4 (Ti4600, 4400, 4200). They are very nice and keep things extremely cool. Have you tried taking apart your old fan setup and cleaning out the dust?? Could be clogged.

I think thats whats wrong with it not too long ago i cleaned it out maybe could i have done something with the motor.

Its possible, but not too likely. I would say that the bushings are just bad and it is time to invest in a new fan or a new card.

I just got it working but i really need a better cooler cause the fan is really weak aww well and that must have been why my vice city wasnt working after alot of use i had to restsart my comp thanks for ure help but is there some sort of homemade cooler i can make with some 60mm or 80mm fans?? looks isnt a big issue at the moment
