A great addition to a wood case, is it's sound dampening acoustics (atleast, if it's not build from some incredibly rigid type of wood).

Go for it 100%

You can go watercooling still, LCS doesnt release humidity into the case, your LCS should be sealed anyway

it reminds me of the episode of Sienfeld where Kramer has the chicken place next door with the big red florescent sign outside

its still a sick case though. $110 is a steal.
