Sorry for the thread title, but in my garage I found this 4oz bottle of black acrylic paint. I put some on my finger an put it on a coke can and this stuff looks kick ass. I wanted to paint my Logitech MX700 (which has gotten a lot of wear and is many shades of grey now) and an ugly airsoft gun I got for free that is brown and chrome and just plain ugly, The airsoft gun is plastic and the mouse is well, a regular logitech mouse. What is the best way to get this paint onto the above items in a nice looking way, I want to get a nice finish. Is there any way to use the paint I have in some sort of aerosol applicator, like a spray can or should I use a very soft brush? please help as I need the answer quickly because I have to go get whatever it is I need soon.

Well, plastic doesn't take paint very well...hence why they now make plastic specific paints. However, the best thing to do would be to take some fine sandpaper to it to rough it up a bit...not so bad that it looks grainy, just enough to give it something to adhere to. You could probably use something like 00 grit steel wool or some 600 grit emery.

Hmm, what you are saying is that I would have to buy the plastic paint, which inturn would already be in a spray can, well good idea REPS+

yeah acrylic paint will dry hard and isnt really flexable enough to be using on a mouse. they also make special primer for plastics if ya already have normal paint.

Basically, I am looking to make the whole mouse "stealth black" the only plastic paint I found is that krylon stuff and they only have gloss black. That isnt the look I want, I want that dull black stealth fighter kind of paint, anyone know where to get it, it doesnt have to really block out radar, just look sick.
