Default Help with sleeving

Can anyone tell me how to remove the pins from 3 pin fans? Preferably without having to buy a new tool.

Thank you.

Why would you want to do that? Replacing with a molex connector?

No... I'm gonna sleeve the wires...

And thank you Kenny, I'll give it a lookover.

EDIT: Thanks Kenny, that worked.

TB, It's dead easy, on the 3pin block there is the side with the side rails and on the other side holes, just use a thin pointy item (paperclip) to gently push down through the top of the holes- the pin's retaining mechanism is just a "barb" that sticks up and prevents the pin from being extracted- if you push down on the pin "springy-bit" you can then gently pull the pin and wire out! repeat for all three wires (make sure you write down their relative positions-(Blk/Red/Yellow))
Sleeve your wiring and then just re-insert the pins!
You can also easily give them a little extra spring -in case you happened to use too much "oomph" extracting them. once you have them out- you'll see what I mean.
Sorted
GL
Cheers
