Default How to mod a case so I can put a side fan?

As the title says, I'd like to knwo what the procedure would be to have a sidefan in my case. ATM the sides are basic flat fanless aluminium with some small holes.

All my fans are 80mm, but I'd like to put a 90mm if that's doable.

Thanks

Just screw it in with a fan guard. And as long as it isn't in plastic you shouldnt need washers. But you might want to add them for looks.
