well i got the two pieces cut, now do you guys want some pics? the cuts aren't perfect but after some filling down it will do.

for acrylic cutting you want to use a jigsaw with a fine blade if possible.

I use a finer blade when cutting acrylic with a circular saw; but some sanding will likely be necessary to get a perfectly smooth edge (if done right, the cut will be pretty smooth so this shouldn't be much of an issue).

well like i said before its already cut, i just need to sand it down a bit then drill the self-tapping screws in with some of this Epoxy that sets in like one hour this stuff is as hard as steel i swear (metaphor)

Update:

EPIC FAIL and first attempt!



well this is the second fail, i was screwing pilot holes and well i guess i went crooked and came out lol.

the first epic fail, was i got one screw in except it needed like 2 more threads and then the end broke where the phillips goes, but that i could get around to continue but the second fail was to failure.

So im off to home depot to see if they carry some acrylic.
