I'm not sure if he it hot flocking it or what, but my 100kv gun will not put it on that thick. You only want to apply what the part will hold on it's own. Hang the part up and spray it. When you no longer see any of the metal, that is when you know you have good coverage. Then, take your ground off, and lightly dust the part. I can't tell you what that does, but it is a trick of the trade.
