Might also be worth saying that you can't use a naked flame oven otherwise you can seriously damage your health with the fumes the powder can give off without proper extraction..

As said, your guide is good for smaller parts and if you were to try sticking a full case in an oven that size you'd bugger it up because the heat will be concentrated in certain areas.

The electric oven will give off the same fumes as the gas.

I have seen video of what a naked flame oven can do with powder in there. Not a pretty site, lol. Fun, but not pretty.

Just think of what this would look like with Chrome powder. And the chrome powder is what I call a 5' chrome. From 5' away, you can't tell that it wasn't plated.

Here is a link that you can order powder on the same site as the gun. If that is not enough colors for you, then I will have to dig up the site that I use for some special colors .

You can also get a more powerful gun there as well. It's not near what we use in the shop, but it's great for the home DIY'er

Most people don't understand that powder coating is expensive due mainly to material costs since suppliers generally don't sell unless you purchase at least 5 pounds of powder which is the equivalent of say 3 full towers. It gets even more expensive if you get the special effects powder for overcoats.

My first vote for sticky

If they do decide to do a sticky, I will re-write it with some better pics and some more definitions. Thanks again everyone, you know how to make a new guy feel welcome.
