Hey, I am planning out my new rig and I need help finding a new case. I currently have a raidmax samurai case and I have found that it might not be the best overclocking case. Plus, I definitely want a case with more fans and one that has see through windows. So, in general, this is what i'm looking for:
__________________1. case with lots of fans or fan slots (preferably like three-four slots or more) 2. case with at least four bays 3. case with side windows 4. case with a decent amount of space for upgrades like w/c kits and such and for working around in 5. case with removable harddrives and such price is really not an issue right now I'm thinking about the raidmax scorpios 668 but I'm still trying to decide.

Thermaltake armor. I have 6 fans in stock positions (4 of them 120mm!) plus I modded the door for 120mm #7.
__________________http://www.thermaltake.com/xaserCase.../armormenu.htm I have an ultra 500w back from rma thats free for any sucker... er person who wants it. Stay clear of them. they look nice and shiny and thats about it. I've gone through 5 cases in the last year and a half. In-win 523T Antec 3000SLK Coolermaster Cavalier Antec Super Lanboy Thermaltake Armor I kept the last two but the Lanboy despite being aluminum and having 3 120mm fans (i won't use any others) is too damn small for my sli setup. The armor also has 2 90 mm fans for output but they are quiet (I replaced them with led fans on zalman controllers to quiet them down too)

Well if you say money is not an option right now, I would get the Silverstone TJ07 which is coming out soon. It is awesome! It was the case the MAXIMUMPC used for their dream rig this year. http://www.silverstonetek.com/product-case.htm
the case is at the bottom in the TEMJIM series.

I like silverstone stuff. I've had fans of theirs in the past. the problem I have with the cases is that the front fan (assuming there is one) has no intake port in front of it. A front mesh of some kind (antec superlanboy, coolermaster 530, thermaltake armor, coolermaster stacker, etc) means that there is an unubstructed flow of air from the front of the case through to the exhaust fans in the back. Little slots (or worse a slot underneath the front plates) basically mean its recycling air inside the case and messing with airflow.

I just bought and setup my Thermaltake armor and it is awesome, I am burning in my as5 right now. I will see if it helps enough with temps to get me a few more mhz on the OC. I do notice that I dont notice my super loud kingwin case with the 9 80mm fans. This thing was really easy to set up and hide most of the wires, and it looks hot with the uv round cables, 120 LED fans, and uv cold cathodes. My old case was a bundle of wires and most of the time I had the side panel sitting accross the room, now all I need is the OCZ modstream and I am set with this rig.
so basicly you cant go wrong with the armor, but remember the black one has steel internals and the silver is all aluminum. No matter what you get dont get the little 80mm fans, the 120's are so much quieter, and you need but maybe 3 or 4 of them.
