Default Cutting Window Material?

I've got a mid-tower case with a nice full size window with what I'm going to guess is some plexi-glass or at least some semi-flexable plastic. I also pilaged a few 80mm fans from some some old Compaq's (read: 200+) and cleaned them up but 2 are actually quite unused and have 3 leads.

What I would really like to do is mod the window to allow for these 2 fans or at least one to be mounted but I'm a little paranoid at trying to cut this window to what I need. Having no dremel or small rotary saw the best I can come up with is my Dewalt Jigsaw with a fine-tooth'ed wood bit.

Wondering if anyone has some suggestions or comments before I attempt this. I plan on taping off the area to reduce fracture and pre-drilling some pilot holes to get the jig blade in but again I'm a wee bit concerned the up-down of the jigsaw will catch and snap this like a twig.

Anyone have more experience cutting plastic/plexi than I have some tips/tricks?

Thanks!

What i did to put a fan in my window was clamp the glass between 2 boards (to reduce cracks) then drilled a bunch of holes in a pattern where the fan was going. It doesn't give the best air flow but it is easy. If you do use the saw, sometimes the plexi-glass melts back together right behind the saw, which can make it much harder/annoying, and if you let the jigsaw sit it can get frozen in the re-hardening plastic and get stuck. If this happens don't turn the saw on until you get it out. I had a bad experince with that...
