Default Usfullness of blue thing

I was just wondering if I can replace this duct with a fan, or if it really helps cool anything. (I don't have this case yet, Newegg doesn't tell anything about it so I don't know the size of it....)

You can incert a fan between the side cover and that duct to help blow fresh air on the FHS! It's alittle bit of a pain to play with the power wire when ever you remove the side!

Or, you can just remove it all together and put a nice fan with cool little light on it in there.

You can use the duct as is, if you have your fan on the CPU just below it it will help the ventillation.

It's a required thermal component for intel prescott cpu's. Remove it and mount a blower fan. I've done it in the past and it works fine.
