Default Wire sleeving Help needed

I am planning on sleeving my cables in my case like others have done. This is the first time I am doing this so I have a few questions. I am looking on buying a red UV reactive sleeving kit that will not only sleve the PSU but all the other wires as well. I am looking at this kit. Would it suit my purpose? Many people have mentioned that sleeving is a lot easier if I remove the Molex connectors. In order to do this I need a Molex remover. Is there more than one kind(ex: one that works on male, female etc - I just want to buy one that will work with everything). Can you guys reccomen me one? Thanks.

you can get them off with just a pair of tweezers and the male ones are real easy if you can find some peice of stiff tubing that will just slide over the pin and you can pull them right out, You just need to compress those two little ears that stick out the side of the pin.

I think I used a BIC pen to take hold down the retention clips. Just take the part that holds the ink out of the pen, and then push that over the pin. I think that should work fine.

I used a paper clip or on my miniature swiss army knife there was a small flathead scredriver i used that worked very well in pushing the retainer clip on each pin and then easily pull them out of the connector. Once you do a couple it will go really fast.

Try to find some UV molex connectors since you're going to be disconnecting them all anyways. They're really cheap and will make your rig look a lot nicer. I've seen complete sleeving kits on ebay for pretty cheap, but not sure if they had red or not. Make sure you get pics for us to see when you're done if you can! Gl!

Edit: found some for ya,here ya go!

Cool, I will post some pics when done. I have been real busy recently and haven't had a chance to work much on my PC. So what you guys are basically saying it that all the wires, whether PSU, fan etc. all connect to the molex with the flair ends? I thought some wire connected differently than others.

And that UV reactive Molex is a good idea, I might try that.

You should. I have a few that are UV reactive in my case and I wish they all were. Someday when I'm bored and have some free time, I'll probably do a full sleeve/molex conversion.

All of the regular 4 pin molex have the flair ends. The 3 pins are the easiest since you just push the pin in from the top of the connector. As for the 4 pin 12v and the 24 pin PSU - they are a little trickier. Although two paperclips one on each side stuck into the hole of the molex end you are trying to get out should do the trick. But it takes patience and tough skin.
