Default Antec 300 mods

Just a few shots of the case mods that I made on my Antec 300 case. The case was bargain-priced ($40 at MicroCenter) and I couldn't pass it up though I liked the window on the Antec 900. So I decided to add a window so I could see all the fancy hardware that cost so much!

Default Antec Mods

Thanks! I bought a nibbler tool (Harbor Freight $7) and a small piece of plexi-glass from Lowes ($2.50). It turns out the plastic was the exact size that I was thinking of using. I used the fan mounts to hold part of the plastic so it made mounting much easier. I'll include more pictures.

The nibbler tool was the coolest, it made nice clean cuts but it took a couple hours as it only takes a fraction of an inch for each cut. You just have to be patient. I was going to use screws/bolts to hold the rest of the plastic but I really liked the clean look when I test fit everything. I used a silicone all-purpose adhesive/caulk that dried clear and holds it in place nicely. The caulk first comes out white! I thought that I bought the wrong stuff! haha but it dries clear.

I'll take some pics later of the inside so you can see the sealer around the edges. I don't have my camera with me right now.

Default Antec 300

Sure thing

http://search.harborfreight.com/cpis...0VGA&Submit=Go

Try that. The tool is inexpensive, it'll probably cost more to ship it than it cost! haha but it works great on the side panel of the case. Good Luck!
