Yeah I was gonna say the exact same thing as Repo Man. You don't need any tools. All you need is sandpaper, spray cans, rubbing alcohol, and some shop towels.

Nice guide there!
Quick question: after applying those coats of primer, paint and clear coat, have you had any issues installing hard drives into the cages afterwards? Or any other fit up issues with the added thickness to the interior parts?

It will scratch if you do not let the paint cure long enough. I would suggest not putting the hdd cages in until they've dried for at least 2 weeks.

I am happy to know that it helps. I spent a lot of time and all I like to hear is that I am helping people. CR can tell you how many times I pm'ed him about painting, so I decided making a guide to help others.

why do you need to be constantly sanding away the layers you paint on?

It will get rid of the orange peel effect and will provide a very smooth surface.
However, if you wanna just get a nice paintjob and don't care about the orange peel do this. Sand with 600 grit lightly after all primer coats Sand with 800 grit lightly after all color coats Sand with 1000 grit after clear, then 1500 grit, then 2000 i would suggest sanding after each clear coat but the last to get a nice reflective surface.
