its an FIC AU31 (k7m-nf18g) amd athlon 2600 Barton running at 2.5 ghz hacked bios and that second big sink is my north bridge and im usen the onboard video and it runs as fast and as good as my geforce fx5700
__________________yea im gona use the 4 channel amp for quad suround sound yea that amp is only running on an 17 amp 12 volt rail witch the amp has a 30 amp max and dam its sucking the power out my computer....running a little slow with the power consumption

Im amazed that your computer is working with an amp running off your PSU. The second you hook speakers up to it....bleh.
The 1000W Alpine V12 In my car makes my headlights dim in sync with my subs and I'm running a 900 amp battery not a 20 amp PSU If you're really wanting to run that amp with your speakers without damaging anything you're gonna have to get a high rated power inverter (AC to DC) and hook it up separate from your computer.

Hehehehe you get a nice big fat voltage spike on that with a big powerup of the caps yor looking to fry your system.
__________________If you got to do it why not just hook up a secondary PSU just to run the amp. Then if all goes wrong you have it isolated, not to mention taking the load offf the system. cheers

Man that's a lot of effort for getting good sound....I would just hook up 2 dolby 7.1 home theatre systems with a couple of powered subs for a little extra boom. Then you can just run it all from 120V a/c and won't need the inverter or caps for the car amp.
