Default Custom wire looming

Getting ready to set my system up with some custom wire looming. I have desided to go with yellow loom and lime green connectors. All is UV treated so it will glow nice and bright when i add the black light.
I have read the looming FAQ and it looks pretty easy, but it will take some time to do.
Any suggestions out there or warnings that i should be aware off?

Be patient and remember the simple rule: it's easier to take away some than it is to add more once you've already done it. In other words, make sure you cut the loom a little longer than you need for two reasons, one, it expands when you put it on and gets shorter, and two, for that reason, it's better to have too much so you can cut it off than not enough and have to cut a whole nother piece. I also found it to be very effective to use zip ties (wire ties) at the ends of the loom then heatshrink over them, helps prevent the heatshrink from slipping off. Also, you get a much better look by opening up your PSU and sleave somewhat inside the housing so you don't see the ends of the loom at the PSU case.

EDIT: Oh, another thing. What I did was I wrapped all the cable pins in tape so they didn't get caught in the mesh of loom when I slid it on. Made the process a lot easier and a lot faster.

Almost finished with mine (posting pictures this weekend...I think). First, take your time and cut the sleeve la bit ong like Yiffy suggested. Figure out how you want to route all of the cabels before putting the sleeve on the wires, you might be able to put several sets into one larger sleeve for a cleaner look. Also, use the space beteeen the back of the motherboard plate and the case to hide wires (some may also fit behind the mother board too). Oh yeah, did I mention...take your time. You will be happier with the results.

Hope this helpped.

Ok boys, it took me 3hrs to do this. Now before you say you could of done it faster.

I had alot of adapter pigtails involved with just the 1 CPU connector.
I had splised 3 different connectors into 1 lead on the CPU fan.
Like you said take my time to get the best results. I feel i did a good job on this and i am happy that after all that work, it still booted up.
So here is a pic so that you can see what i went through.
Old pics in my profile.
As you will see i have alot of work a head of me.

Coments and suggestions are welcomed.
