I can honestly say it really does help with the sound dampening.
When I flick the inside of the case with my finger, gives a dull kind of metal thud as opposed to the cheap aluminum ping.

Also I really went heavy around all the fan mounting points, drive bays, and the psu area.

Looks great, the black interior looks so much sharper

Should I paint the I/O plate, fan grill, and the slot covers?
And yeah I know a couple of spots look lighter, only with the camera flash though.

Great idea, Grunion! It looks really sharp.
I think I'll try this on my next case.

Edit: I would at least do the slot covers as well. Probably the i/o plate too.

Dried wonderfully, pretty resilient to damage/scuffing.
As for temps and sound dampening, IDK yet, waiting on my new psu for that system.
