I'm gonna do it then, my sig rig is spread across my work bench as I'm rma'ing my current psu at the moment as well, so it is the perfect opportunity to do something like this.

Did you measure the noise before applying?
Using the same mic in the same placement with the same settings would have given you a rough idea. Best if done in a couple of spots outside.

I used plastidip to paint a few panels on the interior of my car. That was almost 2 years ago now and they've held up beautifully with plenty of people kicking them! I have no doubt this would work brilliantly on a case!

Well the rig is back together and running.
I can honestly say that the plasti dip has decreased the radiated noise, no more vibration humming, no noticeable increase in temps. Just all around quieter

@grunion and tofunator the cases look great! A few questions, did you have to sand the cases before spraying it? roughly how many cans did it take to complete your cases? how much for each can? Thanks in advance
