Omg that is just plain sexy. And perfect timing too! I was going to pick up a can of matte black spray paint tomorrow for my HAF's interior, now I have a much better idea :3

Can anyone measure the noise before applying this plastic dip material?
Just make sure you can set up everything exactly the same way when you do it again for the after, same mic, plugged in the same way, same levels on everything, the same exact positioning and direction of the microphone... also the same room, same furniture, curtains in the same position... same amount of clothes scattered on the floor etc.

You won't be disappointed.

This is an example of its effectiveness.

My rigs are nearly identical, same amount of fans, same GFX cards.

Armor Jr/steal
Tsunami/aluminum

When I ramp up the GFX fan I can literally hear/feel the fan vibration with the Armor Jr.
You'd think that the steal case would absorb the vibration more effectively, not true.

Now when I ramp up the GFX fan in the Tsunami, nothing, no noticeable increase in sound/vibration.

I will also apply this to my Armor Jr when I get the chance.

@Grunion ->

How does it hold up with the heat (hotter areas of the case) and how long did you give it to cure? I used something similar before I think it was called PlastiKote or similar and noticed that even after letting it set for 2 days , the areas exposed to decent heat seemed a bit tacky and softer ... well that and I could smell it gassing out for about a month lol

I let it cure for 5 days while waiting on my 295.

The place that's exposed to direct heat is the expansion slot area, I just IR gunned the case, 33°c at the expansion slot area compared to 23-26 for the rest of the case.
It's not tacky, just warm, no smell either.

I have to reiterate how easy this stuff is to work with. It doesn't drip or run and is dry to the touch in a couple hours. I'll never use regular spray paint again on a case after using this stuff. I might even have to try out some of the different colors.

I saw some UV reactive, can't find it now.

But yeah, the application is much better than normal spray paint.
I'll never go back either

If you wanted to do an exterior matte finish, how would this look compared to normal spraypaint?
