Default Wow This fan is NUTS!

Well I got this fan from my dad... He borrowed it from work lol.. We wired it up with a switch like a lamp has... What can I do with it? It is really loud.. Is there a way to calm the noise down.

It sais on the sticker
ETRI
Model 125 XR
115v ~ 50/60Hz
16/15W 200/180MA
Impeadance Protected

Heres a pic

The noise is WAY to loud to put in my case.. Is there something i can wrap it in to reduce noise...? It is bigger than a CD not by much tho.

Holy Crap! That thing is huge! You can get a fan controller and plug that fan into it to lower the RPM's thus less sound... and there are Sound dampening mats...

It's just a 120mm fan that runs off the mains

How much Air does it push, is it very strong or does it have a rating in CMF?
