Ok, I have an LCD from a burned up portable DVD player that I want to wire up in my case but I am way out of my league here. It still has the controller board and a small 12 pin connector. Does anyone know where I can get the info I need to get this thing hooked up to my video card to run as a second monitor?

I'll get a digicam and get some
I know, I should have saved a buck or two along the way when I was building my rig and got a camera.

my bad this is a TFT display not an LCD. I cant find anything about anyone doing this from scavenged parts so I guess this is a good time to get a camera and do a worklog of it. I found 4 other guides but they all use displays that they have documentation to follow. This may end up being a prelude to smoke and flames but it should be fun.

Ok, so after six hours of reading threads and looking at manufacturers sites I have come to the conclusion that I am screwed. Oh well, I will just pickup a PSone screen and do that mod.

This isnt going to work, its a proprietary display, much like the ones they use in laptops. Sorry mate... better luck next time.
