Project: IONIC [CASE LOG]
Project: IONIC Zotac Mini-ITX nVidia ION Build Intel Atom 330 Dual Core 1.6Ghz nVidia 9400m 4GB DDR2-800 RAM 2x 320GB 2.5" HDDs in RAID 0 Custom Acrylic Casing  This is the front view, as you can see there is an 80mm fan, and the front panel itself measures 200x90mm. I haven't decided on switches yet, but I will probably use a stainless steel momentary switch, and a mini-toggle switch for the cold cathodes.  As you can see from the front angle, there's a caddy for 2x 2.5inch HDDs. I plan on using 7200RPM Western Digital drives. I picked 320GB because it seems to be the sweetspot right now, pricewise.  I haven't decided on how to cut for the IO plate yet, I may just cut holes for the specific plugs instead of cutting for the IO plate, will have to see how I feel when I get that far lol. I'm currently in the stages of finalising the cost and spec, but its shaping up pretty well. The total size of the case is around 200x200x90mm, and thats an 80mm fan on the front, the exhaust is on the side opposite the motherboard (not shown) What do u guys think? Does anyone have any tips on securely bonding Acrylic (dont want to have screws on the outside of the case, apart from the side panel.

Oooh, I plan on doing something similar except that mine's gonna be used as a home server and I'm going to be using Danger-Den's upcoming ITX casing.
