Right now all I have is the Hitachi drive in my sig. As other people have suggested, a raptor drive with a window would look cool in the vertical mount, although those drives are loud(and expensive) and I was not planning to use any form of noise isolation for the vertical mount. More likely, I will buy an SSD when the prices come down a bit more and move the Hitachi drive into the middle section of the case.

One suggestion, make links to each build log in each description so those of us that are late *cough*me*cough* can easily go and look.

You know you've got the modding bug when your first thought is to put a computer inside a wine cabinet and you don't even consider using it to store wine bottles.

The official MOTM threads have links to all the logs. If Enigma does not add links to the OP, you should be able to find the logs on your own.

@ Enigma

I just noticed something as I glanced over the OP- your commentary for each project has one picture. Except there is this one mod that happens to have two...

I wonder why.

they were small pictures so I thought it would even out the look of the thread. Mine would have been this little photo with all these other monster ones.. But I must admit that part of what your implying could be true..

BTW. I went back to the Thrift Store today.. It was still there. I tried to talk a friend into letting me build him an HTPC out of it. No charge, just parts and the rights to run it in a mod of the month contest. He didn't bite. Soo.... I bought it anyway.. look out. Here I come.

Haha, it's all good Enigma! I was only trying to make a joke. My picture is giant compared to the others, and yours are indeed quite small. You could add two more pictures and the picture of my case would still take up more space on the page than all four of yours.

Your friend missed out on an awesome deal. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
