JigSaw is faster, more accurate and easier to use, Especially if he's never worked with tools before.

I plan on doing one this weekend. Which cutting wheel did you use bluedevil?

Does everyone recommend 1/8" plexi, or is 1/16" fine as well?

I use a Dremel 300 with the included 5pcs. of cutting discs.

Nice mod. I cut mine out with a CNC machine (lazy way) But you could easily do it with a dremel or jigsaw!
