Default dremel 300 vs kawasaki 840168

which is better? I got a dremel 300 with 55 piece kit on sale for $45, but the kawasaki 840168 has 150 things, this includes 4 'bottles' of cutoff wheels

Well, the dremel is the original company. I've never heard of a Kawasaki rotary tool, so I'd go with the Dremel 300.

Obviously they can afford to give away more accessories with the Kawasaki because the unit itself is cheaper.

I tried to find specs on the Kawasaki motor, but couldn't find any info.

I would just go with the Dremel, nothing can beat Dremel quality.

Depending on what you're doing, I recently modded my case and had much more success with a black and decker 30 dollar jigsaw (cheaper than dremel) than I did with my corded dremel. I just drilled a lead hole and went to work.

i just cut a window hole today with my dremel, one thing to keep in mind, the cheap pita cutting wheels they sell at the local store = trashbin. im goin for the aluminum oxide reinforced ones. that is the only thing i have to say about my dremel. the tool itself paid off its value in 50x, ill get a new one once this one dies again a DREMEL not a knockoff.
my dremel: 400xpr price i paid : 50 bucks. one i had to rma but no issues...

I have had my Dremel 400xpr for about 2 years now. Used it on a lot of house projects work projects, and computer projects. Once my dremel started to smoke cause i was making a precise hole with my dremel and the acrylic was a bit to strong, so it started to smoke. Well i immediately stopped and it still works like a charm.
