tired of the crap sleeving on the power supply, and having to look at my DVD drive often, i decided to make this cover like the one in the rocketfish mod log here http://www.overclock.net/6391318-post33.htmlanyways all it took was a thin sheet of aluminum bent into an L shape with 4.5" height and 6.5" wide by 12" long and a can of spray paint but I thought my 1200 was flat black, when its actually more of a semi gloss black, I may have to repaint the sheet of aluminum or powdercoat it for free. I double stick taped it to my PSU as this is the only way I have right now of holding it and will likely leave it that way. ![]() let me know how it looks, and if I should change the color from flat black or not, right now with no lights inside the case it all blends in. ![]() http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...e/P1230341.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...e/P1230342.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...e/P1230343.jpg ignore the white reflections on the glass, they look like scratches on the inside of the case it was a quick, free, easy mod that IMO makes everything looks much cleaner ![]() tint, to protect against UV light from 4-7:30 pm when i get direct light at my window ![]() ![]()

Nice, just fix the colour/color to match the case and your good to go.
Good work

I used a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum bent into shape and cut

I think i might jsut leave it, depends on how it looks with the case light on, I may have to have it powdercoated semi gloss black.

The more glossy it is, the more it will reflect the lights, etc. I'd leave it flat black, but that glossy look with the light shining on it would probably be pretty neat also. Great idea bro.
