I had my case powder coated. I ended up getting an M3 tap from Amazon.com (no-one sold it local) and a #6-32 tap from Home Depot just to touch up the holes. Even with the holes plugged there will be some minor overflow, it does not hurt to have the taps just to clean out the junk.
My full-tower case was $110 plus shipping. This included striping the paint the prior owner put on and sand blasting off the factory powder coat. The powder I got is one with metal flakes, which costs a fair bit more per pound than standard powder (about two pounds for my case).
