How to turn on a computer w/o a power button

New to Overclock.net
|
This probably sounds fairly stupid..but I'm experimenting (:O) with a tech station, and I just realized there's no power button.
![]() Is there any way to turn it on without such a power button? I did google this prior to thread creation but I couldn't really find conclusive results. I can get some pictures up if that helps, thanks for any answers.

yea use a screwdriver, look in your mobo manual for the pinout for the power button and connect the two with a screwdriver

All a button does is complete the circuit.
__________________Bridging the circuit with something conductive, like stated above, does the same thing.

Take some sort of two pin connector, reset switch/power button/ i think even a two pin fan connector would work.
__________________Simply touch the two exposed wires together and voila you got power.

Assuming you're not being sarcastic, check your MoBo manual for jumpers that may appear on your board.

Ok, I tried touching the only 2 pin connector I could find with a paperclip, but nothing happened...

Also, don't bridge the ONLY CONNECTION YOU CAN FIND.
__________________Look up your motherboard and properly locate the CORRECT pins Your manual will list power, hdd led, etc locations.
