i had a fan controller once. it died cuz i overloaded it with two many fans. i bought many 3 pin splitters and connected about 3 or 4 to each knob. silly me :S
i then bought a new fan controller, i still use two fans on each knob using the 3 pin splitters. im happy now

My current controller supports up to 18 watts in each of four channels. My fans draw 4.2 watts each. Easy math. Thanks for pointing that out, Mikecdm!
