Default 4-6 channel rheobus help

this is a big favor but i have an idea for a 4-6 channel rheobus mod and newegg and many other sites dont provide detailed pics of what i need.

if anyone can will you please disassemble the rheobus and take pics of it without the faceplate on...

the mod i want to do is to just simply cut the 3 wire from the rheostat and mount them where i want on the case but that the board controlling them all to be placed somewhere else...

so if someone could reply back with pics of any disassembled rheobus' with at least 4 channels it would be greatly appriciated and rep+

Can't you just use extensions and place those wherever you want in your case?
Nvm, I thought you were talking about the 3 pin connectors. I think you can desolder the rheostats and put them where you want but you have to use some wires.

The fans connect to 3-pin headers, so extensions can be readily made readily enough.

Parts can be purchased from Frozen CPU, Performance PC's and other similar online shops. Or you can buy them already made.

Mine Sunbeam 4 channel controller just has the potentiometer's 3 leads soldered onto the board. In your case, you could unsolder them and attach extra length of wires and put the potentiometers somewhere else in your case.
Another suggestion is to get these single/dual fan controllers by zalman:

although not as fancy as the rheobus, but you can place them anywhere you want.

But, there is a 3-pin header installed?

[edit] I have owned a couple, and both had header-pins.

Nevermind, I'm off-key here. It looks like you're talking about the 4-channel Rheobus, not the 6-channel Rheobus Extreme.

Oh well, I'll go back in the corner and color. Please stop hitting me, Syrillian! Mooooommmm!!!
