Exclamation What mod's available for the antec 1200?

Hi guys!

So i just got my antec 1200 four hours ago (finally finished putting parts in and cable management..This case is awsome for cable management! its not very big/wide (well not as big/wide as the cosmos s)

So now i wana mod it!

If you guys know of any good mods please post em'! pics are a bonus! a how-to would be god like! I will be liquid cooling my CPU soon so idea's on mounting the rad, pump, etc would be cool aswell.
I'd perfer how-to's becuase im quite "n00b" at modding and don't wana mess up the case..most modding i ever did was drill a few holes and paint a case! LOL

so please help me out!

Thanks!

Hey, I gotta agree with Juggalo if theres a mod that can be done to the 1200 then between tjharlow and cyberdruid its been done!

I found the 1200 to be a great case to work with its very moddable. A full window mod is a great idea it really sets of the case. Flipping the hard drive cages is another option that really helps hide a few more cables and both of those mods have video tutorials by tjharlow which are pretty helpful.

In terms of water cooling the 1200 is not the most ideal but can be made to work. The most obvious place to place a 240mm rad is on the rear of the case however a double/triple rad can be mounted up front with a little work. The only problem with this is the risk of blowing heated air from the rad through the case but despite this some peoples temps have not been drastically affected by that approach and it does keep everything internal which is a bonus.

I decided to do some paintwork on my case after I got bored with the plain black look and decided a black and white theme. Heres some pics just to give you an idea of what you could do if you choose to paint. The detachable front bezels on the 1200 are just screaming to be painted imo!

Anyway I hope this helps and best of luck with the new case!

As far as big cases are concerned.... modding can go as far as your imagination.

Get some tools and rip into it; replacement parts are always available.
I just cut a bunch of huge holes in my Lian Li case! scary and exhilarating at the same time!

I think the best thing you can do is cut out a huge window hole and put some dark tinted plexi on the side panel.

Thanks for the welcome! Would you consider painting the case by the way?
