Thats a good suggestion, you have numerous different variations when doing stuff like this. it all depends on how far your imagination takes you. I have seen people sleeve them in one color and have some EL wire wrapped around it also. If anyone rounds their cables, show us some pictures!!

Did someone say pictures? lol, Heres mine, I made them in the last 30minutes, unfortunatly I didn't have anything creative, so I just stuck with 'the good ol' hockey tape'. lol

it works just as good i think...
this was a SCSI cable its wider than IDE

Would zip tyes or heat shrink on the ends be better???

zip tites are not good to have in the box becasue they get sharp, so I don't recommend them.

heat shrink would be good for keeping the bundle size small.

LOl i moded my 40wire cable but my 80 wire one... i havnt touch it....im sure ill cut of one of the wire

You shouldn't worry about it, make a real small incision between the wires and pull them apart.
