It was stated at the very first of the guide....
Well its part 2 to my sleeving guides, LOL. After doing my PSU sleeving guide I decided the flat IDE cables had to go to improve the airflow inside my case. I had some left over sleeving material from the PSU guide so I decided to round my IDE cables. You can buy round IDE cables pretty cheap,, but if you’re like me (Cheap) or just like to do things yourself, you round the flat ones you already have. Let the fun begin!

So, has anyone successfully split the 80-pin cables yet?

Actually, since I have SATA drives, I didn't need to do the 80 pins cables.
Here is my attempt: http://www.overclock.net/2390633-post708.html And I would have MUCH rather made them than buy them. It really didn't take long and I had everything on hand.

This thread just refuses to die...I love it!
Some of the people who originally posted have not been active in months. A couple of which I never really got to see. Archer, if you ever show up and happen to read this, great stuff.
