Since it takes me forever to get anything accomplished here is a little teaser for the monumental wire-management project I've been working on for the last three months. (I only get a couple hours a week to work on my project between watching/raising my 2yrld son...)
I'm still in the process of taking pictures of everything as well as finishing a lot of it but I've gone through a good 500ft of wire and almost as much sleeving for the entire project. Right now I'm working on building out the wires for the 10 analogue temperature sensors and 8 digital temperature sensors that I have attached to the various bits on the motherboard... so there will definitely be much more to come, if anyone's interested. ;-p If you notice closely in the fourth image I stole a "pin-block" out of another cable I wasn't using and put it in the PIN-05 location. Because my cases are usually inherited/purchased by other people at some point, making sure they can't put this quick-disconnect on backwards is one of those "finishing touches" that also doubles as idiot-proofing... ;-p There's three more pictures that I need to update this with that shows how the 8-pin connectors are used to connect this wire-harness to where they were cut from the Silverstone TJ09 case. (Along with a pigtail from the power-switch that runs off the harness to my analogue temperature sensorhub so it can shut the motherboard down if it detects runaway temps) BEFORE: ![]() ![]() AFTER: ![]() ![]() ![]() ERRATA: ![]() ![]() ![]() (...for some reason the thumbnail orientation is messed up, clicking on the images to see the full size shows the actual orientation...) As far as the parts are concerned, I purchase my header connectors and pins from a company named www.futurlec.com.

![]() Sleeving is one of those tasks that seems mundane, but makes a world of difference. Well-done!

Nice Job on the sleeving
,WOW Great prices at that site, I usually order my headers and pins from Mouser (sometimes Digikey) but, great prices at futurlec! (Like 1/3 off!!!!) (though the selection seems rather sparse: ie no 6 or12 pin double row, no pin blocks) and I don't see an option for selecting polarized headers) ![]() (still -if they have what you need -the prices are Bookmarked and repped Cheers ![]() (PS- that blocked pin is position 10 not 5 )
