Default replacing LEDS and need help :)
Ok so i am wanting to replace the LEDS on my thermaltake duo orb and the front of my case (apevia x dreamer II) so that they are all red. I know it's possible but how do i know what size of LEDS i need?

Take one out, take it with you.

That said, they are all pretty much 5mm, but I have seen 3mm on some fans.

well problem with that is i will be ordering them and not getting em from a store due to no stores like that around here

In that case, take at least one or two out from different components to check. You *should* be OK with 5mm..

Take one out. Compare it to a penny (like shown in the link above), and if the led is taller than the Lincoln Memorial by a good bit, then there you go, its a 5.

If it is about the same size (in height) it is a 3.

I will bet though, that it is a 5, like eflyguy stated.

That is about all you can do.

Other than emailing tech support, or measuring it, but I am assuming you don't have a ruler?

I do have a way of measuring it. What way do i measure?

OK so after just receiving my DUO orb cooler from a LONG RMA process i was just looking at it and the BLUE LED's are internal in the fan.. can i still change those?
