I am currently modding a really old case and a load of square block with loops on (cable tie like things) and stickers were all over the inside.
I have taken them all out but they've all left a sticky residue which is annoying because: 1) It makes my sandpaper so gray/black (graphite colour, like I'd coloured the sandpaper in with pencil) 2) It's sticky so when I spray the inside it will be very annoying. Is there an easy way to remove this sticky residue?! I'm sure someones had this problem before. Thanks, - Toon

Alcohol. Use it.
Rubbing alcohol should get rid of it. I've heard good things about Goo Gone too.

WD40, works great on sticky labels and such.
You can use rubbing alcohol if it's going to be used on electrical parts.

WD40 would be great, I have some in my garage, just it's on the top shelf and the shelfs have 4 pedal bikes and a moterbike infront of it so it's impossible to get to it.
