okay here we go. here are some more pics of my rig with cable management attempt 3. this is the best i can do with this case and psu without drilling holes in it.

how did you get the back side of the case on?
__________________on mine, i have a hard time getting one cable width behind the tray and even then it bends the side a bit. you have 5 times more cable back there than i do, i dont see how it could close up.

I took the extra SATA power cables, bunched them up neatly and fit them snug in a little gap just over the HDD cage and below the 5.25 cage. Your SATA cables can be a reason why you cant close up yours: those things are a pain. try to get them in the interior of the case and let your leads lie flat individually and you'll be cool. I can probably do a 100% better job if i had some power tools but it works.

yea from what i have done it has been a pain.
__________________but luckily i have a modular psu so that helps a ton. i have to kind of route the cables around the predrilled holes because they stick out so far lol. i will probably work some more on it this weekend and see what i can do.
