Default How Well Will This Work for Cutting a Steel Case?

This is what I'm referring to, I bought some cheapie hole saw set off of eBay and the case wounded the teeth off, so I need something a little more hardy.

After I read your post I immediately thought you should get a diamond cutting tool. Looks like that is exactly what you linked to. It should work fine, in a sense you will be grinding rather than cutting, so make sure you start out slow so you don't scratch up your case.

Says its for tile, granite or marble. I would get a Bi Metal hole saw from home depot and do it right the first time without question

Well, I've got a decent wood hole saw set now.

Any estimation how long this thing will last, I'm needing to make like 10+ holes.

I already know that, besides its not painted yet (thankfully) and it's quite thick so if I do make a noob mistake I can fix it.

Its good for glass, marble, tile or granite. Not for steel!
If you want to cut steel, you need something like this!

Always considering you have a steel case

5" is 127mm closest thing afaik to cutting an easy 120mm fan hole in inches, not a 140mm

take smashers advice, get a bi metal holesaw from home depot or lowes, or hardware store, and pick up a small tin of general purpose tapping fluid, or cutting fluid. Wet the teeth of the holesaw with a little fluid before each cut, and youll be fine. You dont need diamond coated blades to cut pc case steel

But will it work even nearly as well, all the hole saws I could find were too small and $50+.
