Ok gonna paint my interior as at the minute its a horrible grey colour and would love to paint it black.

Just wondering is this what i would need and how to do it? Also any other tips i should be aware of? First time doing this

Is all i do basically, sand with 400 grit sand paper, apply some primer, 3-4 light coats of black paint then some clear coat overlay?

Is that basically it or am i missing something?

Also, if some paint flakes off or anything could this cause any damage or anythign like that? I really have no clue :P

be patient with the paint, its really easy to overdo spray paint and that will leave drips down the side which look aweful
