Default First case mod, what do you guys think?

Well basically just painting and cutting. The case is an NZXT Guardian 921 case. I cant seem to get any wiremesh in Australia, will try my luck in Singapore.

I'm planning to do another mod to make the front part look like this.

-add some grills for the top part.
- mod the kaze's with green led.
- mod fan controller with green led.
- paint internal black.

and maybe
- repaint external black with white+ green flames?

Personally, I would have made the inside of the case the same color, or a complimenting color. Same for the front bevel.

Leaving the inside matte gray and the bevel black kinda screams "unfinished"

Also, the amount of material you removed from the top kind of destroys the integrity of the panel. I would have removed less. Just my opinions though, it's all constructive.

I'm not slamming it, just giving you my aesthetic opinion. I do very much enjoy the color combination though. +1 for the orange/green scheme.

And the fan up top looks nice.

Edit - sorry I see where you've mentioned the repaints but I'm judging on what I see!

Yup, thanks I really appreciate the comments .
-I'm looking for a strong wire mesh for the top panel so that it doesnt look so weak. I took that design of the Silverstone Raven case.

-the front bezel is definitely going, I'm thinking of using the Xclio1000 style.

-Do you think it will look better if everything was black. The side panels, internal parts etc. and paint flames using white+ green? Or should I leave the case green and just paint the internal black?

I'd just paint the internal black, like a base.

I'm always a proponent of simplicity / minimalism - it's elegant.

And yeah, if you get some mesh up top, something that matches or plays well with the fan grill material, those holes will turn into nice matching embellishments.

I think painting the inside black is also a good idea, and if doesn't end up how you want it then you can paint the outside black with white+green flames

For wire mesh you could go to walmart or the equivalent and pick up one of those little wire mesh trash cans. You would have to cut it and the flatten it under something heavy until it stays flat but I have seen someone do this and it looked really good.

something like this http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ct_id=11065171
